First I dreamed that I was looking at apartments in some cheaper neighborhood in San Francisco. The apartments on the outside were all block-shaped, pastel colors. (Marina style?) Some of them had no windows at all. At one point they seemed to be really small, and I was looking into packages and seeing a dark little living space inside. Some of them were cylinders, like Oatmeal canisters.

I'm not sure of sequence. I was on a tropical prehistoric island. There were 5 or so of us stuck on the island (boat accident?) and we had to keep moving to keep alive. There was a beach. There were paths through the forest. The setting looked like a 1950's dinosaur/jungle/caveman movie. It was tropical jungle, but less dense. There were lots of dangerous creatures, including some hairy, clawed gorrilla-like animals shaped like alligators. They stalked their prey like alligators but lived on land. There was a scene where these creatures were trying to bite into the neck of a huge vegetarian long-necked (brontosaurus?) dinosaur, who was mostly immersed in a swamp with just his neck & head out. The dinosaur managed to fend the creatures away from his neck each time, but they persisted. Some voice (from one of my camp?) said "those are the biggest, bloated laziest dinosaurs," implying that it is a favorite target for the gorrilla-creatures.

There was also a museum, of more island life. I was in the museum, and there was some treacherous human element. It was a built environment but mostly 'open'.

Next thing I remember I was on the grounds of a great place, much like a mansion I've seen in Alamo Square. There were people there. A. and M. were there, as well as other people. It had a road-trip or vacation feel at first. I started sleeping with M. again (RL boyfriend from summer of 1997) and had to let A. know, somehow.
